I’m Laurene, a lifestyle, home and garden, and personal branding photographer based in Toowoomba, working across Southern Queensland and beyond.
My work sits between documentary and editorial. It’s thoughtful and unforced, guided by how a space or a person feels rather than how it should look. The result is imagery that feels natural, considered, and quietly confident.
Whether I’m photographing a family, a character home, a small business, an Airbnb or a boutique stay, the approach remains the same. I pay attention to what matters, and I let the story reveal itself.
How I See
Before photography, I spent more than a decade working in tourism and marketing (I still am).
That experience shaped the way I see the world. It taught me that people remember how a place made them feel long after they forget the details, and that the smallest moments often carry the most meaning.
That perspective guides every session. I work with intention and patience, allowing stories to unfold rather than be directed. I look for atmosphere, connection, and the details that give a space or a business its sense of identity.
